Description

This homemade lemon iced tea is so refreshing as you can actually taste real tea and real lemon – not just sweetness. Definitely, a drink to cool the heat!

Ingredients

  • 8 cups water
  • 8 tea bags black tea
  • 1 cup granulated white sugar
  • 2-3 pieces lemons

Instructions

  1. Put 8 cups of water in a pot and bring it to a boil. Turn off heat and put in the black tea bags. Let it steep for 8 minutes. Leave for another 5 minutes if you wish to have a stronger tea flavor.
  2. Remove the tea bags. Add in 1cup sugar and juice of 2 lemons. Stir until dissolved. Taste the mixture and add more sugar and lemon as desired. Chill in the fridge until cold. Serve with ice and lemon slices.
